Supporting lifelong oral health

Giving you everything you need for a healthy smile.

Your dental care begins with understanding you, supporting your overall wellbeing through personalised, preventative dentistry and ongoing care

New patient appointments

We understand that finding a new dentist can be stressful, and sometimes what you tell us is more important than what we can see in your mouth. Every new patient begins with a 30-minute consultation where we take the time to listen to your wants, needs, and concerns, alongside a thorough examination. We will then discuss the best path forwards and agree on a plan together.

Oral health checks

Routine oral health checks are recommended to all our patients, usually at a frequency of twice a year, but it may be more in the case of anyone with more complex needs. At these appointments we examine teeth and gums for signs of tooth decay, gum disease, and oral cancer, assess your bite, ask about your general health and any concerns you have about your teeth. We also offer any necessary lifestyle or treatment recommendations if needed. These appointments are the best way to stay on top of your oral health and help keep the need for intervention to a minimum.

Hygienist appointments

Alongside routine oral health checks, we always ensure that patients visit our in-house hygienist at least once a year. One of the best ways to take care of your teeth is through oral hygiene, making regular hygienist appointments an important part of that process. Our friendly hygienists and therapists are welcoming and supportive, not only helping to take care of the health of your mouth, but keeping teeth looking and feeling their best too.

Dentures

For anyone who has experienced multiple tooth loss, dentures (or false teeth) can help boost wellbeing and confidence by restoring the appearance of your smile and the function of your teeth. At Sutton Dental we offer acrylic (plastic) dentures, cobalt-chrome (metal) or flexi-dentures. Your dedicated dentist will work with you to recommend the best solution to meet your wants and needs, and will also ensure you have the best support and home care recommendations to take care of your teeth and gums going forward.
